This tutorial teaches you how to make a very very very realistic and very unique ball logo in 9 simple steps
that any photoshop user can easily follow.

Recommended

Step #1

Open new Photoshop Document with pixel size of Width 400px and Height 400px.

Step2 Ball Tutorial

Step #2

Make sure your foreground color is white #ffffff and background color is black #000000. Fill the first layer with white #ffffff background ALT + Backspace.

Step3 Ball Tutorial

Create new layer (CTRL + Shift + N) fill it with black #000000 ( CTRL + Backspace )

Select Layer 2 and select Filter > Render > Lense Flare
Brightness: 100% Lense type: 105mm

Layer 2 still selected. Go to Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates and select Polar to rectangular

Select Square Marquee tool ( CTRL + T ) and then right click and select Rotate 180

Layer 2 still selected. Go to Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates and select Rectangular to polar.

Select Elliptical Marquee Tool and select the circle part of Layer 2. Use your visual imagination on how you will get the circle part.
When you finally selected the circle please press ( CTRL + J ) for new layer Layer 3.

Deselect Layer 3 and select Layer 2 and Delete.

Step #10

Take a deep breath and Enjoy your new artistic global logo. You can also change the color by selecting Image > Adjustment > Color Balance ( CTRL + B ) Start playing with it.
